PAD April 27, 2024 Remix a Poem from April 2, 2024

Spring

The end of winter beckons

with the smell of hyacinths and lilacs––

fragrant breezes pull us outdoors

to turn our pale faces to the sun.

The days stretch and shadows

lengthen, while we measure

our own shortening days.
