Two Haiku

Love

Full words, sounds, puzzles
of rhyming meter seduce
poets. Promises.

Anti-love

Trite words, blunt needles
pierce poet balloons.  Latex
oozes broken air.

I didn’t know which was your poetry for the Rally, so being attracted to haiku, I decided to drop in on this 🙂 Both say so much in so less, but perhaps it is the poet in me.. that I love the love one best! Thanks for the read, Kim! 😉

Thanks! I love haiku as well, but tend to stick to narrative poetry. Not sure, I think “The Table’ was picked , but glad you liked the others.
      I’ll be checking yours out!
