It’s April 1st and the first day of National Poetry Month, an appropriate day to begin sharing my poetry. To all my poet friends, and you know who you are, there isn’t a day that a poem isn’t spinning around my head somewhere. It just might take days or weeks for it to be captured, dissected and posted.
Like a fine wine, a poem needs to be observed, smelled, swirled and then swilled. The taste will linger on the palate long after it’s drunk.
